How To Use Desktop Pathfinder
We’ve designed Desktop Pathfinder to be a simple and friendly to use tool for Film making professionals at all budget levels.
Mac Installation
After you download Pathfinder you can find the Pathfinder_Mac.zip file in your downloads folder. Double click it to uncompress the App.
After you uncompressed the zip file you should get a TTF Pathfinder folder. You can move this folder where ever you like. I'm going to move it to my desktop.
Inside the TTF Pathfinder folder you should see a single App icon. Double click that icon to launch the Desktop Pathfinder App.
You can read the on-screen instructions and/or view the videos below to see how to use Pathfinder. To exit the App press the "Esc" key to bring up the Main Menu and click "Quit."
Windows Installation
After you download Pathfinder you can find the Pathfinder_PC.zip in your downloads folder. Double click to uncompress the App. You get a single folder called Pathfinder Demo.
In the folder you'll see the icon for TTF Pathfinder Demo. Doulbe click this icon to launch the App
This will bring up an annoying Windows warning. Click on "More info" to proceed.
On the next screen you'll get the option at the bottom to "Run anyway." Click on this to launch Pathfinder.

Navigation
Get started with the basics to explore the location. Look around,or pan & tilt. Walk around, or dolly. And teleport your self around the Location.

Time-of-day & Photo Panorama
Check out our newest tools for adjusting the time-of-day at the location. This allow you to see the sun path for any day of the year.
Additional take a look at our new photo panorama feature. We’ve integrate real photos of the location into Pathfinder that you can view at the correct locations.
Advanced
Advanced tools for changing the film back and matte box display options. As well as loading different locations and changing quality settings.
